Martin Wolf was the co-founder of the firm formerly known as Wolf & Shapiro, a Manhattan based full service
law firm, which eventually merged with the firm of Davidzon Radio Show Host, Boris Palant. Mr. Wolf
successfully handled most of the firm's personal injury matters, both at the trial and appellate levels,
including the Appellate Division medical malpractice case of
Katzab vs. Chaudhry and the case of Green
vs. The City of New York
.  His firm was also involved in a high-profile international custody battle resulting in
the first known case in which a United States Court enforced a Russian decree of custody resulting in the
return of the abducted child to her parent in Russia. He also represented internationally and nationally
renowned poker champions, newspaper companies, real estate investors, international investment
banking firms, tv show hosts and radio media companies in major asset transactions and civil litigation &
adminstrative proceedings.   

Martin Wolf has recovered millions for his personal injury clients, and is named in ALM’s Top New York
Verdicts of 2011, including the 7th largest in the area of workplace safety and the 19th largest for a  million
dollar premises liability recovery.

On a consistent basis, Mr. Wolf has been appointed by the Justices of the New York State Courts to act as
Referee in litigation disputes and foreclosure matters, as court evaluator to provide reccomendations to the
Court on guardianship cases, as attorney for persons alleged to be incapacitated, and as guardian for
incapacitated persons.

Mr. Wolf is admitted in the State and Federal Courts within the jurisdiction of New York and New Jersey and
is a member of the New York Trial Lawyer's Association.
MARTIN WOLF graduated from New York University, cum laude, with Honors,
and obtained his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.

Mr. Wolf was a judicial intern for the Honorable Ariel E. Belen, currently
Appellate Division Justice, where he researched and drafted judicial
decisions, including,
United B International Corp. v. UTI United States, Inc..
The decisions he assisted in drafting, utilized almost verbatim by the Court,
were published in official court publications, including the New York Official
Reports.

Mr. Wolf's resume of awards and activities, even prior to practicing law, have
evidenced his dedication to public service and justice. He received a Public
Interest Fellowship, the Center for Social Justice Pro Bono Service Award
and the Silver Public Service Leadership Award. He also served as
Community Chair of the local chapter of the organization Phi Alpha Delta
International, worked for the Appleseed Public Interest Law Center and for
the Central Jersey Legal Services.

Prior to entering into his own private practice, Mr. Wolf  was an associate
attorney at the banking, asset-based lending  and commercial real estate
department of Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, a Long Island law firm.
At BHPP, Mr. Wolf represented large corporate investors and the nation's
largest financial institutions in various major acquisition and finance
transactions.
